2018 BARN Basketry WorkshopsThe Bainbridge Artisan Resource Network is a beautiful new facility on Bainbridge Island that houses eleven separate Artisan studios, each in full-swing running programs for all levels of interest. This organization is mostly volunteer operated with many people from all walks of life sharing their talents.
I’m pleased to say that BARN has a wonderful roster of basketry teachers committed to teach in 2018. For the moment, not all of these classes have been uploaded to the BARN website, so right now I am hoping to give those of you who have inquired about, or are interested in, furthering your plant fiber technology skills, a heads up about the great classes to watch for. I’ve made a list below with the workshops dates, the teachers names, and a picture to give you an idea.
Please do check the BARN, website: http://bainbridgebarn.org, and look under Fiber Arts Events, for more information about these excellent 2018 Basketry workshops. Class sizes are small to allow intensive teacher/student mentoring. If you don’t see the class listed on the Fiber Arts Events Calendar when you check, please check back every week or so, or go ahead and fill out the contact form for BARN and request for someone to contact you once the registration info has been made active by the administrators. As I notice the workshops being made active on the BARN website, I will do my best to provide the link here in my blog. Wishing you all the best!
